VitaCare Fast Access — Visit Duration & Membership Policy
 
 1. Urgent telehealth visits are scheduled in 15-minute increments and cover one to two acute, non-emergent concerns.
 2. Visits up to 15 minutes count as one (1) visit; visits over 15 minutes count as two (2) visits.
 3. If additional concerns arise, or extended counseling is required, a separate follow-up visit will be scheduled.
 4. Clinicians may direct patients to urgent care, the emergency department, or in-person evaluation if indicated.
 5. Medication refills are provided only when medically appropriate. Refills may be declined if:
 • The medication is unsafe for telehealth
 • Controlled substances are requested
 • An in-person exam is required
 • Documentation is insufficient
 6. Membership fees and visit charges are nonrefundable, and unused visits do not roll over.
 7. This policy ensures appropriate use of urgent care slots, preserves same-day access, and maintains clinical safety.
